Skovby was founded in 1933 by cabinetmaker Thorvald Rasmussen. He was a visionary man who even then, created the foundation for the company we see today. He was uncompromising and professionally proud, and from the start produced furniture of the best quality.
Today, Skovby works purposefully to preserve the traditions surrounding Danish design and good craftmanship, and to ensure a skilled workforce in the future by always having young carpenters and upholsterers in training.
The SM 825 Anniversary model features a painted and lacquered finish that provides lasting protection and easy cleanability. Mild soap detergent with a non-abrasive sponge will clean stubborn grease and dried foods. Dry with a towel when clean.
