United StatesVery satisfied with every aspect of the purchase. There was some confusion about the order initially but I was treated with courtesy and understanding over the phone. The ring arrived perfectly and is installed. Could not be any better
1. The new ring came quickly, and was the perfect size. It was thinner and had a generally poorer finish than the original ring, but was the correct size. No instructions for installation. 2. Broken ring came out of the clips easily … it was broken. The clips I pulled out with a pair of Channelocks. They came out fairly easily. 3. The new clips snapped onto the new ring very easily. Positioning the clips over the original holes was tedious, but not hard. I was loathe to use a hammer to drive them in, so I used a C-clamp with a folded rag as a buffer to keep the clamp from damaging the wood. I could press on the ring in the clip to press the clip into the hole. Worked my way around, pressing each clip a bit at a time until they were all seated. Did not damage the ring. 4. Chair swivels again without problems. Success. Whole effort took less than a half-hour.
The replacement ring and clips work perfectly. Many thanks - for the reasonable price and super service. OOPS! You'll have to excuse me I've got to get back to my Stressless stress free chair.
The swivel and clips for my pre-2012 chair arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I haven't tried to do the replacement yet, but it doesn't look like it will be difficult.
