The optional Sequel 6108 back panel, compatible with the Sequel Compact Desk 6103, helps keep unsightly cables out of view when the desk is floating in a room instead of against the wall. The magnetic panel attaches quickly and securely, while the tilting function provides easy access to wires and cables without requiring the panel's removal.
Matthew Weatherly is BDI's Associate Design Director. A graduate of the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Fine arts and Pratt Institute, Weatherly is most well-known for BDI's popular Corridor, Tanami, Sequel, and Centro designs.
"My studies in Denmark had the most significant impact on my design aesthetic. I was fortunate to have Erling Christoffersen as my professor, and he introduced me to the works of Danish Modern designers. Arne Jacobsen, Børge Mogensen, Poul Kjærholm, Finn Juhl, Poul Henningsen, and Hans Wegner are among the most influential designers to me."
