The J L Møllers Model 77A Bench embodies the enduring appeal of mid-century modern design while delivering everyday function. Skilled craftsmen shape each frame using traditional woodworking methods and secure every joint with precise double mortise-and-tenon construction for lasting strength and stability. As a result, the bench offers both visual lightness and structural integrity.
Available in solid teak, oak, or walnut, the piece adapts seamlessly to a range of interiors, from warm contemporary spaces to classic modern homes. Clients may choose top-grain leather for a smooth, tailored finish or Danish Cord for a natural texture and breathability. Each material enhances comfort while reinforcing the bench’s sculptural silhouette.
Finally, artisans polish every chair by hand, carefully refining edges and surfaces to highlight the wood grain's beauty. This meticulous finishing process ensures depth, clarity, and a lasting sheen, elevating the piece's overall presence.
