This nesting coffee table set captures the beauty of your environment on its reflective surface. The heavy-aged mirrors ooze vintage vibes, while its metal frame brings you back to modern times.
Trays are varnished with a water-based top coat to repel common substances and fluids, such as coffee, tea, and wine. However, the protective coat is no foolproof guarantee against stains. We recommend removing spills immediately to prevent staining. Always use coasters to prevent hot surfaces from leaving marks on the wooden trays.

    From Ethnicraft

With full control over the (re)design, production, distribution, refurbishing, and recycling processes, we are in a unique position to contribute to a sustainable shift in the industry. We believe that durability and sustainability start with choosing the right quality material, and wooden products are particularly suited for refurbishment. For the next 25 years ahead, we are developing a new vision for sustainability based on designing for circularity and lengthening product lifespans. We know that we are embarking on a long, ambitious but imperfect process in which every small step counts as much as the big decisions.
    • Compliant with EU Timber Regulations and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT)
    • Indonesian wood verified under the Indonesian Timber Legality Assurance System (SLVK)
    • Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Labeled and Certified on all Teak Furniture
    • FSC CoC (Chain of Custody) Certification
    • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on all Netherlands produced Fabrics
    • Downpass Certification Audited and Tested for Ethical sourcing on all Down-filled Products

    Origin of Solid Wood

The ultimate noble and renewable material, all our wood is sourced from responsibly and carefully managed forests compliant with the EU Timber Regulations and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Action Plan. In addition, our wood sourced from Indonesia is verified under the Indonesian Timber Legality Assurance System (SVLK).

Our production favors locally-sourced timber. Much of our oak is sourced and processed in Serbia. The wood used in our Indonesian production includes legally-sourced teak, mahogany, sycamore, and oak. Since 2013, rosewood has been a protected wood species according to the UN Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

For this reason, we carefully follow the required compliance procedures and will only ever use existing stocks from our facilities.

    FSC® Label for Teak Products

Our teak collection includes products certified as FSC® 100% which are clearly labeled in the catalog. Finally, we carry the FSC® CoC (Chain of Custody) certification of our distribution centers.

The CoC certificate guarantees that the company is legally allowed to buy, stock, and sell products with a specified FSC® certificate originating from sustainably managed forests, controlled sources, and reclaimed materials.

    Durability and Safety of Textiles

Our cushion covers, throws, and rugs are crafted from the best weaving yarns, which are primarily produced in Belgium, France, Italy, Peru, and Pakistan. By consciously choosing natural fibers – such as cotton, wool, and Belgian linen – we stay true to our values: design pieces full of character made from quality materials that age beautifully.

Cushion inners are made in The Netherlands and are Oeko-Tex 100 certified. The Oeko-Tex label is an international standard that guarantees no harmful substances are contained within the final product. It certifies both natural and synthetic fibers. We have consciously opted for duck feathers to fill our cushions. As a natural product, duck feather far surpasses synthetic alternatives in terms of durability and sustainability. All cushion fillers carry the Downpass certification to guarantee high quality, ethical sourcing, and traceable supply chains.

Ethnicraft pays particular attention to the quality of our products, not only during the development stage but also throughout their life cycle. To this end, they constantly innovate and improve their production processes.

Ethnicraft's teams are always available to advise customers on how to care for their products and thus extend their lifespan and repair them. When developing new products, repairability at the design stage is considered.

Where possible, customers are provided with spare parts to extend the life of their products.

    Testing

Producing furniture and accessories of the highest quality, strength, and safety is extremely important. To ensure this, all products are tested throughout the development process. Factors such as stability, durability, and safety for domestic use are tested. These tests must meet a level that meets or exceeds the highest furniture standards within the industry.

Ethnicraft's internal protocols are based on the standards set by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and BIFMA (North American Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association). Moreover, specific products within our collections are certified by independent external facilities in order to meet the European requirements for contract-grade use. Products also meet particular needs based on ecological and health regulations, such as toxic substance use and flammability.

    Additional Certifications

We take great care to ensure the chemicals used in processing and manufacturing do not violate human, animal, and planetary health. We require certificates and standards from our suppliers to ensure these criteria are met.

All furniture containing plywood (such as our sofa’s) meets the TSCA VI standard, which limits formaldehyde emissions from plywood, particleboard, MDF, etc.

All upholstered furniture meets California TB 117-2013, the US flammability standard, which prohibits the use of hazardous chemicals.

All textiles comply with the European REACH regulations. Synthetic fibers are made from recycled fibers with GRS certification where possible.

Wherever possible, we use Blauer Engel-Certified leather, which guarantees

Wherever possible, we use water-based finishes.

    No Waste

As we consider wood a precious material, we work to make the most out of every piece. We want to remain as environmentally friendly as possible, working to maximize waste reduction from the earliest design stage.

With this principle, we design to reduce or reuse as much scrap wood as possible. Production waste such as leftover logs, wood, and sawdust are re-used for other purposes. The sawdust from logs is used as fuel for the drying ovens or compressed as a base for pellets. All the leftovers from cutting planks to size are recycled and used as base material or through finger-joint panels.
