American Leather Recliners do not need a battery to operate; however, for those who wish to put their chair further away from an outlet, or who do not want to hide a power cord, a battery is the solution.
The American Leather Battery fits any powered American Leather Recliner produced after 2025 01 17. Recommended charging time is approximately 8 hours. Charge once per month (we suggest overnight) per month to keep the battery active.
If you are adding a battery for the first time in a Recliner produced after January 17th, 2025, the charging base is already installed in your recliner.
The batteries must be charged at least once every 3 months or damage might occur.

Somewhat misleading
Short battery life and seems hard to find a way to affix it underneath the chair. Works fine but only lasted two days before a recharge was necessary. Also it is really just a 20 to 40 dollar battery with no particular link to American Leather so the name of it is misleading at best.
