American Leather Comfort Recliners do not need a battery to operate; however, for those who wish to put their chair further away from an outlet, or who do not want to hide a power cord, a battery is the solution.
The American Leather Battery fits any powered Comfort Recliner. Recommended charging time is approximately 8 hours. Charge once per month (we suggest overnight) per month to keep the battery active.
If you are converting from direct power to battery power you will find installation instructions in the product manual tab below. The mounting kit for the battery is included with the battery.

Somewhat misleading
Short battery life and seems hard to find a way to affix it underneath the chair. Works fine but only lasted two days before a recharge was necessary. Also it is really just a 20 to 40 dollar battery with no particular link to American Leather so the name of it is misleading at best.
