Each shade is handmade in Finland from PEFC certified form pressed birch by skilled craftspeople. Suspended by a textile cable and three steel support wires, the Magnum 4202 balances its impressive size with an airy appearance that complements both modern and Scandinavian interiors.

Seppo Koho
Seppo Koho is a Finnish architect and designer known for his work in modern Scandinavian lighting. He began collaborating with Secto Design in the mid 1990s and has designed most of the brand’s collection. His designs are recognized for their use of form pressed birch slats that create soft, atmospheric light. Koho studied at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and later earned a degree in architecture from Tampere University of Technology. His work, including the Octo series, has become internationally recognized for its balance of craftsmanship, simplicity, and warmth.
