We stopped looking at trash as a problem and started seeing it as the resource it is. And we created chairs with lamellas made from Danish household plastic trash.

Developing ReCLIPS, HOUE determined that the proper steps were taken in creating a responsible collection of chairs. By using household plastic trash instead of virgin – or recycled industrial plastic, it is not only the recycling of plastic and the use of the trash that is beneficial – there are also significant savings on the amount of energy used in production.
When creating products from household plastic trash, we worked systematically, considering how things are always connected. Consequently, we base our decisions on facts and thorough documentation.

Since aluminum is very corrosion-resistant, it is only necessary with a decorative powder coat. If the product unluckily gets scratched or damaged, this will not spread and does not degrade the product. A repair lacquer can be used after any loose paint is removed.
Regular cleaning should be done with a cloth and lukewarm water. If your outdoor products need extra cleaning, an auto shampoo can be used. Please follow the instructions on the bottle. If possible, outdoor furniture should be stored in a dry place during the winter to protect it from the elements. We do not recommend covering the furniture since the lack of breathability might accumulate condensation on the furniture. Please avoid using any harsh detergents or solvents when cleaning the product.
