The multi-functional Corronade low floor lamp demonstrates the ingenuity, subtle skills, and craftsmanship of Le Klint's latest adaptation of a classic reading lamp.
This beautiful modern design is highlighted by the adjustable arm and tilt-controlled shade. Light can be controlled in exactly the direction needed with a few small adjustments.
An optional diffuser can be used to control light output.
Designer Markus Johansson drew inspiration from 17th Century ship cannons as he created the Carronade lamp series.

Located in Odense, Denmark, LE KLINT focuses on good craftsmanship and in-house production as branding cornerstones. World-renowned quality lighting results from techniques and traditions handed down from generation to generation, which are still carried out today by a broad team of highly skilled workers.

LE KLINT is synonymous with lampshades. Iconic, hand-folded shades take years of learning techniques and mastering many different pleating forms. Only then can a student test into certification to become part of the skilled team of Pleating Technicians. However, this is only a fraction of the procedure of each lamp. Specialist metal workers, woodworkers, and engineers play a big part in the magic of creating unique illuminated art. These tenets have gone hand-in-hand with the folding process since their genesis.

A dedicated LE KLINT team takes great pride in every aspect of the production, fitting, quality control, and shipment procedures to ensure each lamp is unique. In-house production facilities in Odense collaborate with skilled suppliers such as wood carvers, metal casters, and glass blowers, based in Denmark or internationally, with the main focus on quality as “the” guideline.
To clean the shades, you can use a handheld vacuum, a damp cloth, a feather duster, or a soft brush.

To remove the shades - follow instructions in the manual as you would fit or replace a lightbulb.

Markus Johansson

Markus Johansson graduated in 2011 from HDK (School of Design and Crafts) Gothenberg Sweden
Johansson develops artistic creation in his studio in Central Gothenberg, where he specializes in designing and creating furniture, product graphics, and lighting.
Markus works with both Swedish and international design companies. He has won numerous awards, including his highly acclaimed Nest Chair exhibited at The Museum of Art and Design, New York.
Markus explains his work with design and product development:
"My goal is to create different and unusual products in shape as well as function. I try to find inspiration from numerous environments. Using analysis and processing, I conclude that design has to be a perfect combination of construction function and form, which conveys emotions that subtly affect us as humans while simultaneously enhancing our daily experiences and embodying lasting values."
His first collaboration with LE KLINT resulted in a new lighting series named "Carronade." This design originated from the idea of a table lamp with a distinctive playful yet challenging shape, like a small cannon.
The collection consists of different versions: A high-floor lamp A spot-pendant A medium and large pendant A low-floor lamp A multifunctional table/wall lamp A high table lamp

LE KLINT

LE KLINT is a lighting company established in 1943, but the story of the company dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when a hand pleated lamp shade was folded to fit a paraffin lamp both designed by architect and master of engineering P.V. Jensen-Klint. We have ever since maintained our original concept but we are constantly seeking to develop within modern times.
