Proper maintenance involves oiling two to three times per year. If needed, sand the surface gently with 220 grit sandpaper to remove old oil, stains, and discoloration.
SHAKE WELL. Apply the oil with a cotton cloth, following the direction of the grain, and work a small amount into the material. After treatment, remove excess oil with a dry cloth and store used oil rags in an airtight container. Allow the oil to dry for 24 hours. Houe Wood Furniture Oil has a warm tint, so wipe away excess oil in tight spaces to prevent drips from leaving stains. If this does occur, simply sand the area with 220-grit sandpaper and reapply the oil.
