A Pinnacle Award-winning design makes the Corridor 8179 a stylish entertainment center, but its useful and innovative features make it a must-own media console. Perfectly sized for home theater systems with a large television, this modern TV stand packs a ton of innovative features, including a full-width soundbar shelf, remote-friendly and acoustically-transparent louvered doors, built-in cable management, flow-through ventilation, adjustable shelves, hidden wheels, rear access panels and an unbelievably soft and durable satin-etched glass top - part of the award-winning Corridor Media Collection.

Remote Access Storage

Signals from an infrared (IR) remote control pass through the same doors that keep components neatly concealed and out of sight.

Soundbar Shelf

A double-width center compartment is the perfect spot for a soundbar—up to 38-inches in length—allowing for full audio dispersion at the ideal height, even behind closed doors.

Satin Etched Glass

This highly durable tempered glass has an unbelievably soft finish that provides protection from dings, scratches, and even fingerprints.

Flow-Through Ventilation

Ventilation is built into the cabinet's base, back and adjustable shelves, promoting airflow and allowing heat to escape. Shelves rest on threaded, cushioned shelf pins, eliminating vibration and allowing for endless adjustments as needed.

Rear Access Panels

Rear access panels easily slide or remove for convenient access to the rear of components, cables and connections.

Hidden Wheels

Concealed wheels make the cabinet easy to move—and cables easy to access—while preserving the clean lines of the durable steel base. Lower the levelers to raise it off the wheels to secure it in place.

Safety Matters

The included safety strap easily installs to tether a TV to the back of the cabinet, minimizing the risk of accidental falls.

Cable Management

Thoughtful details like generous cable cut-outs, integrated routing channels, and removable back panels preserve the uncluttered design. There are even cable straps to keep everything organized.

Optional Low Leg Assembly

This optional accessory creates a low profile by replacing the taller media legs on the Corridor 8177 and 8179 models with shorter ones. Height of the lower legs is 4.7 in | 12 cm, reducing overall cabinet height by 3.75 in | 9.5 cm.
