Shade Material

Lunopal is a high-performance shade material developed by DOMUS. It is remarkably heat-resistant and able to withstand temperatures of up to 100°C. The basic materials are classified as self-extinguishing (class K2 / F1 acc. to DIN 53438). Lunopal is transparent and has the appearance of fine Japanese paper. It consists of compressed polycarbonate fibers, which are used for high-quality lighting fixtures. The completely environment-friendly material is unaffected by U.V. radiation and will not fade or get yellowed. Especially for architectural purposes, Lunopal has proved its quality.
