The Loop Floor Lamp is both elegant, utilitarian, and a perfect complement to any style. Made in Germany by Domus Licht, the Loop floor lamp is clean and simple, yet offers a touch of organic ambiance. The loop occupies just 7.5 inches with a compact footprint to fit easily into tight spots. The Lunopal shade casts light well and assembles in various shapes (see photos). The Loop can give you ideal glare-free reading light, or illuminate a corner with just the right amount of warm, ambient light.
Lunopal is a high-performance shade material developed by DOMUS. It is remarkably heat-resistant and able to withstand temperatures of up to 212 F. The basic materials self-extinguish (class K2 / F1 acc. to DIN 53438). Lunopal is transparent and has the appearance of fine Japanese paper. It consists of high-quality, compressed, polycarbonate fibers. The material is environmentally friendly, but will not fade or yellow. Lunopal is a quality proven material and is especially noted for architectural purposes.

Quality product, shipped without any issues. It’s a very delicate lamp with narrow metal stand, and a ‘paper’ shade you twist and shape to your desired look. Despite being very lightweight and delicate overall, the circular base is steady – although the metal rod does sway if bumped. This lamp does not dim, it has a foot on/off switch and uses a G9-base halogen or LED bulb, which they supplied for us (nice touch!). We have tucked it in a corner of our living room to provide soft ambient light (and to avoid it from being knocked over).
